ECHO

Summary
The ECHO (Energy Communities Excellence Hubs) project, funded under Horizon Europe (GA 101185725), is dedicated to empowering energy communities across Greece, Portugal, and Türkiye. Through collaborative networks, targeted training, and hands-on pilot deployments, ECHO supports communities in transitioning towards sustainable, flexible, and citizen-centric energy systems. By bridging governance, technology, and engagement, the project fosters resilient and replicable local energy solutions that align with broader EU climate and energy goals.
Our role
Within ECHO, QUE Technologies leads Work Package 3, driving the selection and co-development of pilot sites and the integration of tailored services. QUE coordinates the matching of energy communities with feasible technical and organisational services, supports formal partnerships through MoUs, and facilitates the structured rollout of innovations such as demand response and energy monitoring. This work ensures that community pilots are prepared, equipped, and aligned for real-world implementation, helping accelerate the deployment of next-generation energy services across Europe.
