Job description:

  • Design & Development full stack applications at the intersection of ICT and Smart Energy (Smart Grid Applications, Building Automation, Demand Analysis, Forecasting and Control)

  • Contribution to the tasks of In-Depth Analysis, Specifications, Design (Requirements, Functional & Technical Specifications, Algorithmic Design)  and development of Innovative Technological and Business Solutions in above domains

  • Collaboration with Internal and External Project Teams comprising SW Developers as well as other Domain Experts, including  (where necessary)  monitoring and evaluation of work results

  • Occasional Short Term Traveling and Participation in Project meetings in Greece and Abroad

  • Support of Company products & services in the Smart Energy Domain

Job requirements:

  • A university degree in SW / Computer Science or Relevant Science with a major or a strong orientation in Software Engineering.

  •  In depth experience on the fundamental topics of Object Oriented Programming, Databases, Data Structures is considered a minimum requirement

  • Experience in Software Engineering and IT projects in domains combining at least one or (preferably) more of the following topics:
    - IoT application frameworks
    - Blockchain Technologies
    - Cloud Solutions
    - Data Modeling
    - Distributed Application Frameworks development/design,
    - Fast Prototyping

  • Experience on any the following fields will be considered an asset:
    -MVC architecture patterns
    -Design & building APIs
    -SpringMVC, Hibernate, Node.js, Angular, React or other similar technologies
    -Technologies and platforms relevant to data-driven programming and analytics
    -Experience on design & development of Cloud-based solutions with multiple endpoints
    and platforms (Web, Mobile, Tablet)

  • A post-graduate certificate (MSc, PhD) in a relevant domain/topic with a strong focus on SW design and development in the topics of Service Oriented Architectures (SOA), Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) and Knowledge Management will be considered an asset.

  • Excellent MS Office Skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Greek

  • Ability to operate comfortably in both the business and technical arenas
