REEFLEX
Summary
REEFLEX is an EU-funded project that explores and tests new ways for small businesses and start-ups to offer flexible energy services to their customers. These services help energy users adjust their energy use in a cost-efficient manner and always according to their needs and preferences. It also aims to encourage more citizens to actively participate in the energy market by showcasing the possible benefits of their participation in demand response schemes.
The project will identify different energy services (focusing on demand response services) for citizens and SMEs and create a digital platform to facilitate service delivery, leveraging artificial intelligence and blockchain to make the participation in the energy market more transparent and fair. The project will demonstrate its outcomes in four countries with different types of energy users (such as homes, cars, industrial and commercial buildings, or data centres). It will test its solutions in a further three countries to examine replication potential in different contexts and settings.
Our role
Que technologies will be the leader of the monitoring and planning campaigns for the deployment of the REEFLEX solution at the selected demonstration sites, making sure that all relevant activities are carried out in a timely and efficient manner. QUE will also oversee the demonstrations at the four demo countries, ensuring that they meet the project needs, allowing the creation of an evidence base for proving the value of the REEFLEX suite of technologies and services and the analysis of the multi-faceted impact of the REEFLEX solution.
This project has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon Europe research and innovation programme under grant agreement No 101096192.
